Fast weight loss is one of the most difficult things is the world to achieve and keep up for any length of time. Your choices and your life style got you into the shape that you are currently so you have to make big changes to get into any different kind of physical shape. One of the best ways to jump start your fitness or weight loss goals are to enter some type of a competition.
This can be any manner of things, the point is to give you some incentive and some competition. It will also spice things up and make them more interesting. If you are working towards something and you have some sort of a tangible goal to reach before you get there you can bet that it will be easier to get there.
So, what kind of competition? It really doesn’t matter, there are all different types of competitions out there. It could be a 5k or a marathon, or it could be some type of fitness or body building competition. Either way you will be motivated by the date and you will also be motivated by the thought of failure.
Many people start out competitive training with the thought that they just want to compete or they just want to finish the race. This thought is setting you up for failure and simply saying that you are too scared to compete. There is no one out there that doesn’t like to win but there are lots of people that are scared to lose. Saying that you just want to finish is a nice way of setting you up to not be disappointed.
Here is my challenge to you. Enter a competition to kick off your weight loss like never before and help you achieve fast weight loss, but compete. Don’t just say you are happy with entering the competition, come to play. This doesn’t mean that you have to win, it just means that you aren’t going to set yourself up for failure before you start. Set a goal and compete with yourself.
Competition makes us great and pushes us to new levels. If you are stuck in a rut and need something to give you the motivation to get to the next level or just out of the rut a competition may be exactly what you need. So whether it be fast weight loss or increased fitness bring your game.
